Robert Dow made a motion to accept the Minutes of the Treasurer’s
Report

Rick Leach announced that the main pool will be closed until Old

Goodman, Decorating Committee Chairperson, thanked all for their input into the
Committee’s choice of tile for the areas chosen in the ·

Prince then explained a possible floor plan change, with some expansion, for the

Prince then asked the Board to vote upon paying an architectural firm, Yale
& Associates, to draw-up a schematic for improving the
Discussion followed and Joel Brusso clarified that we will be
voting on the expenditure of funds for a floor plan, schematic
only, at this time.
Joel Brusso also said that we would wait until the budgeting
for the New Year is drawn before starting the project.
Robert Dow made a motion that we engage the firm of Yale
& Associates Architecture, Inc. to take measurements, and
draw a schematic for future enhancing of the
at a cost to us of $1,000.00. Seconded by Harry Sassower and
passed unanimously.
When asked, Harry Sassower received the information that the
project may possibly cost 70-80 thousand dollars. ·
Barry
Prince then asked Joel Brusso how many foreclosures we have here. Joel Brusso
replied that we have 7, which when satisfied, we will recover a portion of the
shortfall in the budget for that income. Audience
Participation
Several questions were asked regarding the proposed
improvements. ·
John
Fowler, resident, suggested that the Architect’s plans could include the
County requested improvements for the two whirlpools in the ·
Howard
Weinberg, resident, said that additional chairs are required, especially during ·
Barry
Prince appointed Howard Weinberg to check on possible chair rentals at those
times. ·
Feige
Brody asked if we could purchase and possibly store additional chairs. ·
Barry
Prince replied that we do not have the space available, and that if we were to
purchase chairs, then we may as well put them out for usage at all times. Architectural
