On Monday, November 3rd, Al Hoffer’s Pest Protection Services began
treating over 15,000 linear feet of ficus hedges and trees to prevent the White
Fly from destroying them. The
treatment consisted of a foliar spray and root drenching of all of the ficus in
the community, as well as treating 15 ficus trees on the property.
It was completed in three days and Al Hoffer will return to re-spray in
three to four weeks to insure control of this dreaded pest.
CJ’s Welding was on property on Monday, November 3rd to make some
needed repair to the aluminum gates. The
cost of the work was $687.
Domenico’s Nursery and Landscaping Inc. completed work on the flower beds at
both entrances along Cedar Point Blvd., and around the Clubhouse as part of our
annual fall planting projects. Domenico’s
met with the Landscaping Committee yesterday to go over the plans for replacing
shrubs, trees or sod at select locations where needed.
As soon as we receive the proposal it will be presented to the Board.
At the last Workshop Meeting, the Board of Directors received a copy of the
Proposed 2009 P.O.A. Budget as presented by the Finance Committee, in order to
review it prior to today’s meeting. The
Board will have an opportunity to ask questions before deciding if it is ready
to be mailed to all members and to schedule a date for the Annual Budget Meeting
in December.
Last week, our staff finished painting the pavers under the overhang of the
front of the Clubhouse Entrance, and also drained and cleaned the Waterfall at
the front of the
Clubhouse.
The office will be closed Tuesday, November 11th in observance of
Veterans Day and the next General Meeting will be held the following week on
Wednesday, November 19th at 7:30pm in the Center.
Respectfully submitted,
Rick Leach, L.C.A.M.
