Frames Tree Service completed the Annual Tree Trimming Project on Friday, May 23rd.
Thanks to Dave Lefton of the Landscaping Committee and Assistant Manager, John
Snyder, for overseeing the project.
Paint It Rite, Inc. completed painting the Center’s Stage and adjacent walls
on Thursday, May 22nd. The new
black matte color looks great and the work was completed in a timely and
professional manner.
On Friday, May 23rd, Lazar Interiors hung the stage curtains and
drapes in the Center that were taken out for a thorough cleaning.
This was the first time that they had been cleaned since they were
originally purchased and hung.
Carl’s Pool Service was called in on Wednesday, June 4th to repair a leak in
the intake of the Cabana Club Spa. The
leak also caused the spa pump to overheat and seize, requiring us to replace the
pump, which was completed yesterday afternoon.
Over the last few weeks, our staff has been busy painting many rooms in the
Clubhouse. As of this date, all
Card Rooms, Room A and the Billiard Room have all been freshly painted.
In addition, our staff replaced the lights in the Steam Room and replaced
a timer for the lights around the pool.
After what seems like a month, Lake Worth Drainage District has completed
removal of the dredged material that they had piled up by the canal during the
Canal Dredging Project. Although there is a layer of dirt on the ground, the
grass will eventually cover what dirt remains.
Replacement of the Tennis Court Awnings by Delray Awning Company has been
rescheduled for Tuesday, June 10th.
The project will consist of installing new canvas awnings on all
shelters, replacing the frames on two of the shelters and sanding, priming and
painting the remaining frames. The
work will take approximately two to three days to complete.
Domenico’s Nursery & Landscaping, met with Dave Lefton and Assistant
Manager, John Snyder last week to go over some landscaping improvements in the
community. Among the improvements
are mulching around the Clubhouse, Pool and other locations adding additional
ficus hedges in some selected locations including around the Regulator Station
in the front of the community. We
are awaiting the proposal, which will be presented to the Board at the next
Workshop Meeting.
Respectfully submitted,
Rick Leach, L.C.A.M.
