Larry Granet made a motion to accept the Minutes of the December 11, 2008 Budget Meeting as corrected. Seconded by Paul Whitney and passed unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report – Joel Brusso

Joel Brusso made a motion to accept the 2010 Budget Report, as drawn. Seconded by Robert Dow and passed unanimously.

Barry Prince asked if there were any questions regarding the Budget.

· Feige Brody asked about Item #00706, Entitled “Clubhouse Flooring” for $40,000.00. Barry Prince explained that, if voted upon, then the item which is listed under “Projects” would be considered. He also went on to explain that the present flooring is uneven, and that residents, especially those needing walkers and canes, along with the rocking of chairs and tables, is causing problems. He stated that, if the item came up for consideration, there would have to be an affirmative vote for the flooring to be replaced, and that the Decorating Committee would bring in a proposal.

· Joel Brusso added that there is $58,000.00 allocated in the Budget for special projects, and the estimated $40,000.00 for flooring replacement would come from that budgeted amount.

· Mel Teitzman asked about Lake Aeration , Item #715. Barry Prince explained that we would possibly consider two additional fountains, to be placed strategically, for lake aeration. This item would be considered under “Projects”, and need to be approved.

Audience Participation

· Resident, Al Reet, Condo #5, asked about Item #00605, under Landscaping. He asked if money could be saved by having the grass mowed just once in 2 weeks rather than every week that he’s aware of. Barry Prince informed him and the residents that we only mow once a week in the summer months, which is necessary due to rapid growth, and that during the winter months we mow only every other week. Barry Prince also informed us that we have been holding down our landscaping expenses with the new landscapers.

· Larry Granet asked that we move the previous motion, which was voted upon unanimously in approval.

· Larry Granet made a motion to adjourn at 10:15 A.M. Seconded by Mimi Plonsky and passed unanimously.
